What the visit looks like
The caregiver arrives at the agreed time and stays for the booked hours. Company and conversation, a prepared meal, light tidying, encouragement with the usual routine, a short walk if the weather allows, and accompaniment out of the house if that is what the day requires. Afterwards the family gets a straightforward account of how it went.
What it is not: medical treatment, nursing procedures, medication administration or emergency medical supervision. Z Home Care provides non-clinical support only, and we say so before anything is arranged.
For family at a distance
Being far away does not mean being uninvolved. Families often arrange and pay for the visit themselves, tell us what matters — the specific chair, the specific tea, the topic that always lifts the mood — and hear back the same day. It is a practical way to stay present from another province.
Booking a single day
Call 709-800-7385 or send an inquiry with the date, the hours and what is needed. We complete a short intake review, confirm the request fits our service scope, and tell you whether a caregiver is available. A three-hour minimum booking applies; $32 per hour plus applicable tax, or $54 per hour plus applicable tax on public holidays. Services are private-pay and arranged directly with the client or family.
If the same week keeps coming around, we can talk about a regular schedule. If not, one visit is a complete arrangement in itself.
