In Newfoundland these are not optional. Missing a wake or a funeral because the walk is too long or the room will be too full is a real loss. A caregiver can arrive early, help the person get ready without rushing, find a seat before the room fills, manage a coat or a walker, know where the washroom is, and offer a quiet exit before the day becomes too much.

Arranging accompaniment

After a short intake review we confirm the exact responsibilities, mobility needs and transportation arrangements, and whether a suitable caregiver is available. A three-hour minimum booking applies at $32 per hour plus applicable tax, or $54 per hour plus applicable tax on public holidays.
